LOGO DESIGN FOR A START-UP PLUMBER

I was approached by Rikki to create a logo design for his new business as an independent plumber. The first concept I presented, shown above, was a simple combination of his initial with a water droplet to emulate all those leaky taps he’ll be fixing for his soon-to-be customers. However, on second thoughts, Rikki realised that he would want to grow his business in the future, and move in to the heating trade too, so this design would not represent all the facets of his offering.

I created the second design with more direction from Rikki on what he wanted his logo to do, and we finalised on an abstract mark that contains both the water and heat elements that he’ll be working with in the future. If you need a plumber in the Plymouth area, you know where to look!
